The Fit For Life Retreat
Getting healthy means different things to different people. Regardless of what fit represents, or indeed how an individual approaches the challenge of improving their personal fitness, one thing remains certain; small changes can make big impacts. The Fit For Life retreat is created for Adventures In The Alps and hosted by professional fitness trainer Steph Lightfoot, who specialises in understanding the relationships between exercise, health, well being, food and performance. The goal is for guests to come away with a new mindset and the knowledge required in order to make a noticeable difference. The retreat is aimed at people who love delicious food and wine and welcome the idea of using the great outdoors to get fitter, whilst having a fun holiday in the process. Guests will train with Steph each morning and receive a combination of group and personal instruction. Afternoons will be filled with activities including; kayaking, mountain biking, canyoning and hill walking. Pip Watkins, managing director of Adventures In The Alps said: Fitness comes in many forms. People often think its massively hard work and then it becomes an arduous task. This hosted retreat is all about changing individual perceptions and turning self-improvement into an easy part of everyday life. People who come on our retreats make relatively small changes to their lives but they see massive and long-lasting benefit to their overall fitness, health and well-being. The Fit For Life retreat costs 1200 per person. It runs from Saturday 6th August for one week and all levels of physical fitness are welcome. The price includes six nights accommodation, dinner, breakfast, snacks, unlimited wine & soft drinks, all activities, equipment, training, fitness assessment, personal training, motivational coaching sessions, dietary advice, massage session, spa facilities and return airport transfers. source: www.pr.com
